Terms of Use

By installing or using My Daily Tool ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please do not use the app.

My Daily Tool is a personal productivity app that lives entirely on your device. It helps you plan your day, track health and habits, capture notes, and run small AI-assisted features. There is no user account and no cloud database. Your data stays on the device unless you explicitly export or share it.

Everything you create in the app (meals, workouts, journal entries, tasks, photos, settings) is stored on your device using the operating system's local storage and IndexedDB. We do not maintain a copy. You can export your data as JSON or wipe it at any time from Settings → Data.

If you uninstall the app or wipe your device, the data is gone. We can't recover it.

The app includes an optional AI assistant, Brain Dump parser, meal-photo estimator, and weekly report generator. They run on the built-in free AI. There is no key to enter and no provider to configure. The replies are informational only and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date.

Food allergens, nutrition labels, and ingredient lists generated by the AI must be independently verified before consumption. Do not rely on AI meal estimates if you have a food allergy, dietary restriction, or medical condition. Always read original labels.

Workout suggestions, intensity levels, and exercise descriptions are not medical advice. Consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting any new exercise program, especially if you have a heart condition, joint injury, are pregnant, or are recovering from surgery.

The app is not a substitute for medical, legal, financial, or mental-health professional advice. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 (US) or your local emergency number.

You agree not to use the app to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Send abusive, fraudulent, or harmful content through the AI proxy or email-sending features.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer the app, decompile the binary, or interfere with its operation.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the app or its source code without permission.

If you opt into the Resend email send path, the weather widget, the crypto-price widget, the AI assistant, or any account integration on the integrations screen (Pocket AI, Garmin, Fitbit, Oura, Strava, Spotify, FlightAware, World News, WeatherKit, the RSS feeds you add, or the calendar feeds you add), you are also agreeing to that service's terms (Resend, Open-Meteo, CoinGecko, DeepSeek and any automatic AI failover provider, plus the provider behind each integration you connect). Apple Health reads on-device HealthKit data with your permission and adds no third party. The app routes requests on your behalf but is not responsible for those services' uptime, accuracy, or data-handling practices. See the Privacy Policy for the data flow on each integration.

The app is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will the developer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or personal injury, arising out of or related to your use of the app, even if the developer has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

The developer's total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the app will not exceed the amount you paid for the app (which for most users is zero).

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction in South Carolina.

We may update these Terms occasionally. The "Effective" date at the top will change when we do. Material changes will be flagged in the app's What's New tour. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

The app is offline-first: your data and nearly every feature live on your device, so the app keeps working with no network connection. The optional online features (the AI assistant (DeepSeek), weather, news, crypto prices, weekly-report email, and cross-device sync) depend on services we do not control. They can be unavailable, rate-limited, or changed by their provider at any time, and we make no uptime or availability commitment for them.

We may add, change, or remove features at any time. Doing so never deletes or alters the data you have already stored on your device.
